This comprehensive course package provides a thorough overview of effective methods and tools for creating cost efficient technical systems and logistic support solutions. The subject matter is extensive and the course has therefore been split into the following six modules:

1. Operational Effectiveness - design and control of system reliability, maintainability and supportability
2. Spares Supply - optimal dimensioning and management of spare parts
3. Logistics Engineering - applied ILS
4. LCC Engineering - developing and using Life Cycle Cost models
5. Design Support Systems - LORA and simulation techniques
6. Logistics Engineering and LCC in Projects - from concept phase to end-of- life

Each module is of 3 days duration. The first 2 days consist of lectures and exercises whilst the final day is arranged as a workshop. It is possible to participate in some of the modules rather than the total to tailor the requirement to a particular need.
