An important feature of OPUS10TM is its ability to account for an operational scenario involving many sites, like stores, workshops, depots and operational sites, with different mixes of systems and system versions. OPUS10TM allows the modelling of situations where systems depending on their deployment to sites, have different utilisation profiles. These are characterised by utilisation rates scaling the resulting support demand flows from what would have prevailed under continuous operation.

This modelling capability allows the analyst to appreciate the important effect that commonality on system and item levels will have on cost/effectiveness of the joint logistic support system.

OPUS10TM models flexible supply scenarios, including lateral resupply, within the optimisation process.
