Systecon Tool Integration with External Systems
Systecon is pleased to announce a number of successful projects over the past few years have enabled the integration of its toolset with ERP, Asset Management and Logistics databases to enable the dynamic management of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts.
This approach has enabled clients to benefit from the coupling of the unique optimisation approach of the tools with standard depositories of data and information across industries ranging from Defence to Aviation to Rail to Power Generation.
Clients can use their existing data and information in a seamless link to the tools providing their customers with true PBL contracts based on a tailorable measures of effectiveness and performance ranging from, among others, Equipment Availability to Spare Availability to Equipment Downtime to Waiting Time for a Spare optimised against various cost measures. This provides a potentially more powerful approach than that available with current options.
Examples of integration with ERP, Asset Management and Logistics databases include SAP R3, Syncron, Movex and a number of proprietary military Logistics/ILS databases to recognised standards such as MIL-STD-13388 or DEF-STAND-0060 as well as companies in-house databases. The open systems approach adopted means that we will be able to accommodate future standards such as ASD 3000L and 4000M.
Both OPUS10 and Simlox have been through a Verification and Validation process with the UK Ministry of Defence thus ensuring that they meet the requirements of such analysis.
If you would like more information on how we may be able to help you then please contact us.
